The Street Photography Barcelona Contest (SPBC) was founded with the mission of offering international exposure to photographers, both professional and amateur, who explore street photography with authenticity, creativity, honesty, and passion. The festival provides a physical and virtual exhibition space where works can be viewed, appreciated, recognized, and even purchased by a professional and global audience.

SPBC shares part of its organizing team with Ibizacinefest , directed by Xavi Herrero , passionate about street and travel photography, and the driving force behind this new event in Barcelona. Ibizacinefest , recognized as one of the most relevant emerging film festivals in Spain, is an official qualifier for the Goya, Forqué, and Fugaz Awards, in addition to collaborating with the European Film Academy. With a history of 10 editions and the support of up to seven cultural departments from different public administrations, it constitutes a solid guarantee of professionalism and seriousness.
