The "El Carrer és Art" Cultural Association was founded with the mission of providing international exposure to photographers, both professional and amateur, who explore street photography with authenticity, creativity, honesty, and passion. By organizing the Street Photography Barcelona Contest (SPBC), it offers a physical and virtual exhibition space where works can be viewed, evaluated, recognized, and even purchased by a professional and global audience. SPBC collaborates with Ibizacinefest, one of the most important emerging film festivals in Spain, an official qualifier for the Goya, Forqué, and Fugaz Awards, and also collaborates with the European Film Academy. With a track record of 10 editions and the support of seven cultural departments from different public administrations, it constitutes a solid guarantee of professionalism and seriousness. This same commitment is reflected in the Street Photography Barcelona Contest, ensuring that your photographs will be in the hands of an honest cultural project with an international focus. The members of "El carrer és Art" serve as the SPBC Jury, including Xavi Herrero (Director of SPBC) and Olivier Verdier (Curator and Owner of Galerie Art Nomade).​
