25 Photographs | 23 Photographers | 12 Nationalities
An X-ray of contemporary street and documentary photography
This selection brings together 25 exceptional images captured by 23 authors from 12 nationalities, forming a living map of the global urban gaze.
Beyond geographical boundaries and cultural differences, each photograph in this exhibition captures the pulse, mystery, and unpredictable beauty of contemporary public space. From pure social observation to intuitive visual poetry, these works reflect the diverse approaches that define the intersection of street photography and auteur documentary today.
Selection Criteria
The selected works stand out, in our opinion, for:
-
Narrative and Visual Identity: Images that transcend the mere document to tell complex stories in a single frame.
-
Composition and Cinematographic Language: Masterful use of light, geometry, rhythm and the human factor in dynamic environments.
-
Authenticity and Intuition: The ability to anticipate the decisive moment and capture the essence of everyday life without artifice.

Under the peace imposed by the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, laws banning women from working left Jasmine’s mother and her three children in extreme destitution. In sheer desperation, her mother considered giving Jasmine away in child marriage just to save the family from starvation.Today, thanks to direct support from the NGO NOVE Caring Humans, the family has been saved from absolute poverty, protecting Jasmine and giving her the chance at a different future.

Wearing protective tanning goggles and a brightly patterned swimsuit, a woman stands with her hands on her hips on the beach in Salou on August 19, 2018. Her firm posture and distant gaze give her the presence of a posed portrait, although the moment was observed spontaneously. Against the blue sky and blurred activity behind her, she briefly emerges from the crowd as an individual character.

I've been a passionate photographer for 25 years. I consider photography an opportunity to understand the world around me, and in this sense, street photography is, for me, the essence of this characteristic of photography.
